Die Künstlerische Leitung dieser Landeskunstschau obliegt der Kunsthistorikerin Dr. Gabriele Rasch. FLUX4ART. Kunst in Rheinland-Pfalz ist konzipiert als ein mehrmonatiges Kunstereignis, das an verschiedenen Orten im Land stattfinden soll: in den Regionen Eifel / Westerwald / Hunsrück, Mosel/Trier, Nahe, Rheinhessen, der Pfalz und am Mittelrhein.
Die Schau soll Auftakt für ein neues Ausstellungsformat sein, das die Qualität und Vielfalt zeitgenössischer Kunst in Rheinland-Pfalz sichtbar macht. Rund 60 Künstlerinnen sollen die Möglichkeit erhalten, Werke zu präsentieren. Zwei Drittel der Teilnehmerinnen werden aufgrund ihrer Bewerbung von einer Fachjury ausgewählt. Bewerbungsschluss ist der 5. März 2018.
