Der diesjährige Jugendkunstschultag am Montag, den 13. November in Ludwigshafen, setzt sich mit den Themen „Mythen kultureller Bildung“ und „Medienkunst“ auseinander.
Gerade im Bereich der (bisher ehrlicherweise noch nicht so sehr intensiv erforschten) Wirkungen – vor allem aber im Bereich der Zuschreibung von Wirkungen – haben sich viele Mythen gebildet. Programmverantwortliche und Praktiker hatten und haben ein nachvollziehbares Interesse daran, dass ihre Arbeit als sinnvoll und ertragreich anerkannt wird. So entstand zunehmend mehr auch die Gefahr, die Freiheit der kulturellen Aktivität und des kreativen Prozesses einer „um zu“ Ausrichtung zuzuordnen – oder sogar unterzuordnen. Das, was schon lange in sozialpädagogischen sowie therapeutischen Prozessen mit künstlerischem Angebot passiert, wurde vermehrt auch der kulturellen Bildung zugeschrieben: Stärkung des Selbstwertgefühls durch Erfahrung von Selbstwirksamkeit, Förderung des sozialen Verhaltens durch kreative Arbeit in Gruppen usw.
Frau Prof. Dr. Vanessa-Isabelle Reinwand-Weiss wird mit einem Input über die erste Veröffentlichung des Rates für kulturelle Bildung mit dem Titel „Alles immer gut – Mythen kultureller Bildung“ einsteigen.
Der Nachmittag des Jugendkunstschultages steht unter dem Thema “Medienkunst”. Hier werden einige Projekte der Medienkunst exemplarisch näher betrachtet.
Als Fachverband für Jugendkunstschulen in Rheinland-Pfalz wurde die LAG Soziokultur und Kulturpädagogik e. V. mit der Overheadaufgabe der Begleitung und Unterstützung der Initiativen beauftragt.
