Bei den kleinen Kooperationsprojekten ist eine Zusammenarbeit von Partnerorganisationen aus mindestens drei Teilnehmerländern und bei den großen Kooperationsprojekten aus mindestens sechs Ländern erforderlich. Die Zuschüsse bei kleinen Kooperationsprojekten können maximal 200.000 Euro (maximal 60% der förderfähigen Kosten) und bei den großen Kooperationsprojekten bis zu 2 Mio. Euro (maximal 50% der förderfähigen Kosten) betragen. Die maximale Projektlaufzeit beträgt für beide Förderbereiche 48 Monate. Frühest möglicher Projektstart für bewilligte Projekte ist Mai 2018 (kleine Kooperationsprojekte) bzw. Juni 2018 (große Kooperationsprojekte).
Antragsberechtigt sind Einrichtungen mit kulturellem Zweck, die ihren Sitz in einem der teilnahmeberechtigen Länder haben. Natürliche Personen können keine Anträge einreichen.
