Mit dem neuen Förderprogramm „Technische Erneuerungs- und Sanierungsbedarfe in Livemusikspielstätten in Deutschland“ baut die Initiative Musik ihre Livemusikförderung aus. Das Programm wird gemeinsam mit der Live Musik Kommission e.V. (LiveKomm) realisiert, die bereits beim Digitalisierungsprogramm im letzten Jahr als Kooperationspartner mitwirkte.
Das Programm fördert gezielt Clubs von unterschiedlicher Größe, Programmaktivität und musikalischer Ausrichtung. Antragsberechtigt sind Musikspielstätten aus dem ganzen Bundesgebiet, denn gerade bei kleineren bis mittleren Livemusikspielstätten reichen die laufenden Einnahmen nicht aus, um den Investitionsbedarf im Bereich der Bühnen-, Aufführungs- sowie Sound- und Backlinetechnik abzudecken. Es dient der Sicherung und Steigerung der kulturellen Vielfalt und der Programmqualität in Livemusikclubs in Deutschland, die wichtige Kulturorte sind. Gefördert werden Anschaffungskosten zwischen 1.000 und 20.000 Euro mit einer gestaffelten Förderung in Höhe von 900 bis 10.000 EUR. Die Differenz muss als Eigenanteil getragen werden. Das Antragsverfahren endet am 2. Mai 2017.
