Mit dem Jahrgang 2015/2016 startet in Rheinland-Pfalz aktuell ein neues Projekt „FSJ_digital“. Das „FSJ_digital“ richtet sich an alle derzeitigen FSJler und FSJlerinnen in Rheinland-Pfalz, unabhängig davon, in welcher Einsatzstelle und unter welchem FSJ-Träger sie arbeiten.
Bis 30. November 2015 können Freiwillige in Rücksprache mit ihrer Einsatzstelle einen Antrag für ein digitales Projekt einreichen, das sie dann 2016 umsetzen. Dabei kann es sich zum Beispiel um ein Film-, Foto- oder Radioprojekt eines Freiwilligen mit Kindern, Jugendlichen oder Schülern handeln. Oder ein FSJler richtet für seine Einsatzstelle einen Blog oder Facebookauftritt ein. Der Phantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt, Hauptsache das Projekt bewegt sich rund um die digitale Medienwelt und kommt in irgendeiner Form der Einsatzstelle zugute. Es gibt einen Fördertopf von bis zu 1.000 € für das eingereichte Projekt. Außerdem finden vom 25.-29.01.2016 fünf Bildungstage im Digital-/Medienbereich statt, die die Freiwilligen für ihr Projekt fit machen.
Träger des FSJ_digital ist das Kulturbüro Rheinland-Pfalz in Zusammenarbeit mit der Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Freiwilligendienste Rheinland-Pfalz. Das FSJ_digital wird unterstützt vom Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend.
