Künstlerische Betätigung hat ausgesprochen positive Effekte auf behinderte Menschen. Deren Einbindung in ein künstlerisches Projekt ist daher eine Form der Förderung und Unterstützung, die sich die Stiftung Dr. Dormagen-Guffanti zum Ziel gesetzt hat.
Die Stiftung schreibt jedes Jahr in einer anderen Kunstsparte ein Stipendium für eine Künstlerin oder einen Künstler öffentlich aus. Die künstlerische Arbeit muss etwas mit Menschen mit Behinderung zu tun haben oder für Menschen mit Behinderung gedacht sein. In diesem Jahr soll es an Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus dem Bereich “Skulptur/Installation” vergeben werden. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die ihren Arbeits- und Wohnsitz im Bereich der Bundesrepublik Deutschland haben. Bewerbungsschluss für das Stipendium 2015 ist der 28. Februar 2015.
